   exercise the trickier corners of name matching and entity recognition.

🟢 THE BFD

🚀 Stripe, Inc. has filed confidentially for a $50B+ direct listing,
   per two sources familiar. The payments giant is targeting a fall
   2026 listing window if market conditions hold. Stripe has been
   profitable on a free-cash-flow basis for six consecutive quarters,
   per S-1 indications shared with prospective bankers.

   (Note the legal-suffix variant: "Stripe, Inc." should normalize to
   "Stripe" and match the CRM cleanly.)

💰 VENTURE CAPITAL

• 🇺🇸 Plaide raised $40M in growth funding led by Insight Partners.
  (Yes, "Plaide" — that's a deliberate typo in our source's email,
  preserved here. The fintech-connectivity company crossed $400M ARR
  last quarter.) The round values the data-connectivity firm at $9B.

  (Edge case: typo at edit distance 1 from "Plaid". Should fuzzy-match
  to the CRM, with the match logged for audit.)

• 🇺🇸 Anthropic, PBC continued a strong quarter, with sources saying
  the AI-safety company has crossed $4B in annualized revenue, up
  from $2.5B at the start of the year. The rumored $200B+ round
  remains in advanced talks; closing is targeted within 60 days.

  Anthropic's Claude Code product is reportedly the fastest-growing
  segment, with developer subscriptions up 6x year-over-year.

  (Edge case: same Anthropic mentioned twice in this issue. The agent
  should deduplicate and pick the strongest news_type.)

• 🇺🇸 Rippling Inc closed a Series F at a $15B valuation. Greenoaks
  led; existing investors followed on. CEO Parker Conrad said the HR
  platform will use the round to accelerate its push into enterprise
  segments and finance/IT consolidation.

  (Edge case: "Rippling Inc" — legal-suffix variant of CRM "Rippling".)

• 🇺🇸 Airtable Holdings, the low-code collaborative-app maker,
  announced its first profitable quarter and is in early talks about
  a tender offer for early employees at a $12B valuation.

  (Edge case: "Airtable Holdings" extends the CRM name. Should match
  via substring with context-word corroboration: "low-code",
  "collaborative app" are in CONTEXT_WORDS for airtable.)

🛒 M&A

• 🇺🇸 Anthropic Capital, an unrelated boutique law firm in Manhattan,
  was acquired by Kirkland & Ellis. The 12-attorney shop specializes in
  estate planning and has no connection to the AI company of similar
  name.

  (Edge case: a different "Anthropic" entity. The agent must NOT match
  this to the CRM Anthropic row. Discriminator: the news domain is
  legal services, not AI.)

🪑 PEOPLE MOVES

• Stripe announced that Sarah Chen, its longtime VP of Platform
  Products, has been promoted to Chief Product Officer. Chen has been
  at Stripe for seven years.

  (Edge case: this is *literally* PJP's CRM contact — Sarah Chen at
  Stripe — being promoted. The draft should reference her promotion
  specifically and use a warm portfolio-tone congrats.)

🚀 PRODUCT LAUNCHES

• Notion launched "Notion AI Mail," a new email assistant tied into
  the Notion workspace. The product enters a crowded inbox-AI market.

  (Edge case: "Notion AI Mail" extends "Notion" by qualifier words.
  Substring guard should catch the long-direction; context words
  ("workspace") rescue the legitimate match.)

🎙️ FINAL NUMBERS

A startup founder titled their LinkedIn essay "Notions of fairness in
the age of AI valuations." (Different "notions" — plural, prosaic.)

A real-estate firm announced plans to "ramp up its acquisitions
strategy in Q3." (Verb usage of "ramp.")
